NovaStar for FWS Administrators / Overview

This documentation is intended for NovaStar Flood Warning System (FWS) Administrators, who are responsible for configuring and maintaining the NovaStar base station. Administrator tasks include:

• Configuring new stations and data points
• Configuring data imports and exports
• Configuring alarms
• Performing NovaStar system administration such as configuring backups and monitoring system performance
• Troubleshooting the NovaStar system

Many of the above tasks utilize the NovaStar Administrator User Interface (AdminUI), which is a web interface to the NovaStar database and software system.

This FWS Administrator documentation is organized into primary tasks that typically need to be performed.
