Data Export / Overview

The NovaStar system can export raw and processed data on request and as a scheduled process. Because NovaStar is a real-time data system, it is desirable to configure data exports to minimize the impact on system performance. Consequently, for output products that are well know, such as standard reports, and exports to third parties, exports are typically configured to run on the scheduler. Ad hoc data exports and queries are allowed but should not be used where scheduled exports are an option.
